2003-05-07 - 11:38 a.m. Ha, a free one. THE END IS NIGH!! No my class is over, and I have time again, but New College is rapping up. Soon another class of people I knew leave New College to enter the real world, inspite of all my warnings. This is the last year of students graduating on time to have known me as a student. Here on out, a heavy mix will be people who have met me after I graduated. All the classic stories and memories left to those who stay. We are too few and too busy. It will be very different for me after this, given that my common ground is shrinking. Of course we are getting to the point where I have common memories with the young ones, who graduate in another year or two. I don't think I have to worry about stasis living with a college, given that the poulation recycles itself in five years. I don't think there is anyone with a constant memory of New College that extends back to the times before me, as a student that is. The professors are falling by the wayside as well though. We lose a couple this year, and a couple next. It changes and so do I, though I am too close to see the shifts. Well, beyond that, most people I know are writing like mad, and preparing for final exams and presentations. A hum of stress runs through the campus, promising a massive release in the pools of PCP. I have heard nothing about the theme yet, but I am sure I will find out far too late for me to do anything about it. I am hopefully watching Oscar tonight with many of my friends. There are many good movies out and about to be out. My eyes have been quite pleased with what they have to look upon. I even seem to have enough time to where I may ramble philisophically soon. We will see.
