I am a big liar. I am sorry I keep teasing you all, leading you to think I might be reliable, or forsighted. Alas I am terribly nearsighted, being legally blind in both eyes without correction. So here is a synopsis of my summer so far:

Busy.

So my lofty goals of creating anything this summer have been washed away. At this point I am happy that I have set up a limited set of goals that I will attempt seriously to attain. But that is the present, and I will take you through the brief bits of past I can recall.

School let out, and everyone was happy, and set off for brief stints at home to visit family, or set up there rooms, as case may be. I sat still, and took a week to do whatever it was I did that week. May finished the birthdays of many mothers, including my own. As well as Erin's, which I have yet to properly gift. June opened with my Love's birthday, which we celebrated with a large outing to Pirate's Cove, where we celebrated by playing video games, ski ball, and Laser Tag in Pirate Garb. After a few hours of that, we returned to our humble abode, filling the place with cars, and ordering Chinese take out, watching Animatrix, which had been a gift.

The next thing I remember doesn't happen until July, so my daily pattern stuff for June was working out, going to Aikido once a week, rehearsing for a series of vinettes, which will be performed in late August, in the TA, and running around trying to spend time with my loved ones, and playing the occasional roleplaying game.

Somewhere in June Apophis and Doc gave us a visit, and gave me the best present ever : A Kukri Knife which was promised long ago, and forgotten. My arsenal draws closer to completion with each piece added. I may be satiated with weapons within the next couple years at this rate. It was incredibly wonderful to see them, and we had some awesome roleplaying sessions, that have sparked my mind with a few ideas/objectives.

First weekend of July I take my loves up to Orlando to see Weird Al in concert. It was awesome. I am sure that the Wheel has a better description, but here are the highlights to me. A broad mix of songs from different albums including a "hooked on" medley of most of his more popular songs. For costume changes he would play bits from UHF, and AL tv, which was interviews with various people he parodied, which he cut into funny shorts. He opened with the TV song, and Angry White Boy Polka, and ended in encore with Episode 1 and Yoda, dressed in Jedi regalia. Before the show we saw the Hulk, and after we stopped in at the Virgin Music store. Other than that, much driving that day.

Weekend after that went to Busch Garden with Love, saw the 3-D R.L. Stein movie, that happen to feature Weird Al. It also had Christopher Lloyd in it. We did the Buschgardens stuff, and then went to the LARP at USF. It was nice to get back there after over a month.

I did stuff on the Sundays after each of the events, and it was good and important stuff, but I have no idea what it was.

Summer Elf swept into town that week, and bounced about through the week, and was carried away on Friday's breeze. We celebrated her trip at Pirate's Cove and Lazer Tag, because It is bloody fun. We found a scandelous video game, if you can believe it.

Last weekend I took a group of people to the late showing of Pirate's of the Carribean, and yes, Love and I were dressed as pirates. My look is quite piratical, given the beard, long hair, dark skin, and pierced ears. I am still working on the wardrobe though.

The next morning I changed out a flat tire for a donut, to get Ophidia on her way home. Then my mother took me out for the day with my brothers. First we saw Bruce Almighty, then we went to Barne's & Noble, where I purchased "Cordelia's Honor" in hope of having it for my own. I guess it is mine now. Then we bounced around sarasota looking for more books, and dinner. Dinner was brought to us by Coco atto, which everyone loved of course. I bought a couple of cookbooks at mainstreet books, before going to church that evening.

Yes, I went to church. No I neither blasphemed while there (not badly anyway) nor was I stroke down on the spot by god's righteous fury.

Now there are a couple of explanations for this. A) I was on good behavior. B) It is a meta-physical Christian church. They believe in Christ and psychic abilities. They specialize in spiritual healing and speaking with the dead. They are quite good at it from what I can tell. My mom has taken to going to this church because it entertains her. The AC was out, so they cut the time by 10 minutes. It was about 50 minutes. It featured a couple of hymns, a wandering and undirected sermon on . . . stuff, including not to blame others for the problems in your life, to realize that you are going to change as you get older, and that death is peaceful once it is over. I think there was more, but he seemed to be trying to lecture to the young, but he was addressing the problems of other young people. Phil may have gotten something from it.

He then went on to blindfold himself, pick up sheets of paper that had the name of a dead person on them and I guess questions. He contacted the necessary people and gave messages to most of the people there. I didn't participate, because I don't have any good questions.

Then I went home, and rested. And I don't have any plans for the immediate future except reading and rehearsal. I'll write you more about the present once some more time has lapsed allowing me to forget the fine details.

Have a good day.
