Wow it has been a while. Well things are better, but only because they were worse.
First off. I didn't get to Ice cream until a week or two ago. The cold stone just opened opposite of the big movie theatre.
Second, I try to be sunshine and lollipops. These days if for no other reason than nobody else seems to even be trying.
Third, not that I am so good at it right now. Today was a conspiracy to make me feel pretty good, and remind me of all the pain of the season.
So here is what you missed. I moved again. I moved into a nice new apartment. This would be great news if the fact that I am here did not come about because I lost another friend. And not just any friend. A brother. See, I am very protective of the people I care for. And when anyone decides that they are going to be a beligerant bastard and make one of them feel unsafe to co-habitate with them over a stupid piece of glass, and not have the decency to consider apologizing for it. I am sorry, but no matter who you are, you are out at that point. He had reason to be upset, but not to yell, frighten, and bounce about as a stupid ape. He once was a noble beast. Now he is just an animal. I love him dearly. It is the only way I can hate him so much. I even made sure he gets to keep the one person who takes care of him. Maybe he'll get better. Ultimately I still blame his job. I think it opened him up to cowardice and lack of pride. He couldn't be proud of what he was doing, and it ate away most of his time, so what pride could there be left after that. I am still a fool. I still have hope. And I know I'll just be hurt for it. And yes, this is very one sided. I have no idea what the other sides are, cause they are gone. I have to rank this the number one pain in my ass for the season. Not that it doesn't have some feisty competition.
Other than that, today decided to remind me of my father over and over. I am not sure of the significance, besides the anniversary is comming up again.
Other than that, I had some time off, to settle into the new place some. We managed to get everything out in one day. The new place is nice, and still relatively undecorated. Work is busy. I need to check my address book, and make sure I have all the appropriate e-mail adresses. If you think I might not have it, e-mail me. And beyond that, I have b-day presents to get, and a symposium to plan.
